The Restful Jaw® external support device (“The Restful Jaw” hereafter) is warranted against manufacturing defects for one year from date of receipt by the manufacturer’s warranty policy. This policy does NOT:
This policy DOES warrant that we, The Restful Jaw Company, LLC, will accept for repair or replacement – at our discretion – any Restful Jaw that has become unsuitable or damaged beyond use due to a flaw resulting from a manufacturing defect within one year of purchase.
Each Restful Jaw we ship is in a Restful Jaw box that also contains instructions for use, care and maintenance of the product. These instructions do not describe all conditions under which the warranty could become void. When the Restful Jaw is used for a purpose in a way other than for which it was intended, any claim of defect arising from such use will not be covered by the warranty.
The standards, in which the device is manufactured, considering raw materials, assembly methods and quality control, are intended to meet the requirements of supporting the jaw while being worn properly by the patient with the assistance of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
The device underwent rigorous testing for failure and fatigue by an accredited medical device testing company. The Restful Jaw provides functionality for quite some time if the health practitioner uses and maintains it properly. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposures to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, normal wear and tear or transport damage.
Most importantly, we manufacture The Restful Jaw under strict quality control standards to avoid selling potentially defective merchandise. Our manufacturer, Versa Electronics, has approved standards operating procedures and quality control in place.
